01Who we are

Steed Sports International ("Steed Sports", "we", "us") is a B2B athletic footwear sourcing partner based in Guangzhou, China, working with manufacturing partner Jiangxi BaiYing Group. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

02What we collect

We only collect data we actually need to answer a business inquiry:

• Contact and inquiry data — the name, company, business email, target market, estimated quantity and free-text message you submit through our inquiry form or design tool.
• Design specifications — if you use the online design tool, we receive the silhouette, material, colour selections and any logo file you choose to submit with your inquiry.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and timestamps, generated by our hosting provider's standard server logs.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data, and we do not ask for payment card details through this website.

03Why we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and prepare a quotation (performance of, or steps towards, a contract).
• To protect the confidentiality of designs shared with us — see section 6 (legitimate interest).
• To keep the website secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
• To comply with legal, tax and export-control obligations (legal obligation).

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

04Cookies and local storage

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The design tool stores your current design selections in your browser's local storage so that your work is not lost when you change pages. That storage stays on your device, is not transmitted to us unless you submit an inquiry, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.

If we introduce analytics or embedded media that sets cookies, we will add a consent banner and update this section before doing so.

05Who we share it with

Your data may be accessed by:

• Our own sales and sample-development staff, on a need-to-know basis.
• Our manufacturing partner's staff, only to the extent needed to quote or develop your product.
• Service providers who host or operate this website and our email, under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

We may transfer data outside your country, including to China. Where we do so we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, and we limit the transfer to what is necessary to serve you.

06Your designs stay yours

Designs, tech packs, drawings and brand assets you send us remain your intellectual property. We do not publish client work, we do not reuse your designs for other clients, and we are willing to sign a mutual NDA before any design discussion. Access to design files is restricted to the people who need it for your project.

07How long we keep it

Inquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and to maintain a normal business record, and is then deleted or anonymised. If we enter into a contract, related records are kept for the period required by applicable commercial and tax law. You can ask us to delete inquiry data at any time (see section 9).

08How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to inquiry data is limited to a small number of staff. We do not claim to be perfect: no internet transmission is completely secure, so please do not send us more personal data than the inquiry actually requires.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.
• Receive your data in a portable format.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email sales@steed-sports.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

10Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

11Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
